TCS New Hiring Drive: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the opening of applications for the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) for the 2027 batch. TCS Eligibility Criteria 2027 (Batch Passing Out 2027 Only)
- Qualifying: B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, M.E, MCA, M.Sc, M.S from any discipline.
- Class Type: only full-time courses are accepted. Part-time or correspondence classes are not considered eligible.
- Academic Achievement: Minimum 60% cumulative or 6 CGPA over all semesters, up to the most recent grades.
- End of Degree Qualification: Candidates must achieve First Class at the top quality within the stipulated timeframe.
- Backlogs: Up to one active backlog or arrears can be allowed during the testing. No backlogs are required upon the time of onboarding. All backlogs have to be cleared by the duration of the course.
- The Education Gap: The gap in academics shouldn’t exceed 24 months with valid documentation.
- Age Limit: 18-28 years.
Note: Students who have graduated from Secondary or Senior Secondary at NIOS are eligible, provided that other requirements are satisfied. Only 2027 batch members who passed out are eligible to apply.

TCS NQT Test Pattern 2027
Total Duration: 190 Minutes
Part A The Foundation Parts (75 minutes):
- Numerical Ability Time: 25 minutes
- Verbal ability Time: 25 minutes.
- Reasoning Ability Time: 25 minutes
Part B Sections for the Advanced Sections (115 minutes):
- Higher Quantitative and Rethinking Skills Time: 25 minutes
- Advanced Coding Time: 90 minutes

- Visit the official TCS NextStep portal: https://nextstep.tcsapps.com/indiacampus/
- Click on “Register Now”
- Select the “IT” category (Do not choose BPS)
- Fill in the details and generate Referential ID (DT/CT 2023 and up series only)
- Select “Apply for Drive” and fill out the application form.
Candidates who have a Reference ID need to click “Apply for Drive”. Make use of your personal email address only. The email cannot be modified later.
