Key Responsibilities

A Service Desk professional plays a vital role in maintaining smooth IT processes by providing assistance to users and ensuring prompt resolution of technical problems. The job involves direct interactions with customers and users and focuses on identifying issues quickly and providing efficient solutions within the parameters of defined specifications.

  • Rectify IT break-fix requests at multiple entry points and offer immediate assistance.
  • Find a solution for IT problems that break/fix or escalate issues that are not resolved to the technical support team.
  • As the primary line of defence for help desks, taking care of the basic level 1 as well as specific level 2 technical issues.
  • Remotely troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues across laptops, desktops and even systems.
  • Make sure you document technical interaction, adhere to the prescribed processes or scripts and ensure that tickets are up-to-date according to service level agreements.
  • You can ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick and efficient help.
