The Role

A Technical Support Specialist at Level 1 will provide the first-line technical assistance to B2B customers. The job focuses on speedy resolution of issues, troubleshooting and providing excellent customer service in accordance with defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer Support of Level 1. This includes software, hardware, and other services in accordance with the contract.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OS, Email (Outlook/Exchange/Lotus), Networking (VPN/Connectivity), O365, VMware, and collaboration tools (Teams, Webex, Slack).
  • Perform the reset of passwords, entitlement checks and incident logs in ticketing tools.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues with appropriate teams and act as the advocate of the client.
  • Manage service outages and check status messages.
  • Keep track of software licenses and the inventory of hardware data.
  • Achieve SLAs, SLOs and KPIs to ensure great customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent writing and verbal English communication.
  • Solid customer service and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Expertise in Windows, macOS, O365, VMware, Networking, Internet Security, and Collaboration tools.
  • Experience in IT ticketing and payment systems.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage.

Eligibility

  • BCA
  • B.Sc (Computer Science)
  • B.Com (Computer Science)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience Cisco Nexus and IOS technologies.
  • Experience using F5 ASM, along with LTM setting up and troubleshooting.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Cisco Certified.
  • Experience with network automation/scripting.
