Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- A knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Expertise with Python as well as Java programming languages.
- Experience hands-on using RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, as well as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- A familiarity with modern frameworks like Angular, Django, Spring Boot or Apache Airflow
- Knowledge regarding relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Experience with Linux operating system, command-line utilities, and the fundamental networking concepts like the TCP/IP protocol, DNS, as well as HTTP
- Experimentation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven) and platforms for observability (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus)
