An Associate Test Engineer (Automation) is a crucial function in the support of the platform for applications in the Engineering department. Key Responsibilities
- You must demonstrate a commitment to quality products through the creation and maintenance of testing programs that are based on technological and functional designs, functional test scripts, or ad-hoc tests to detect bugs.
- Test cases should be completed, documented the test’s failures, and maintain an extensive record of the test to make sure that the test can be traced and precise.
- Find the causes of the problem and resolve the issue to ensure the highest quality of goods and services.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to aid in the testing process and to ensure the success of this project.
- You must be able to handle many tasks and stay organised in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degrees that include the major of Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience related to the subject.
- 0 to 1 year of professional experience, which makes it a great opportunity for those who are in the process of graduating or professionals in the early stages of their careers.
- A solid understanding of the algorithms and data structures, and object-oriented programming. Databases, SQL, and web programming.
- Experience in any of the languages for programming and contemporary frameworks, like Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Experience using databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- An understanding of web/application servers, such as Tomcat.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as JUnit.
- Experience with the tools for managing the control of versions, such as Git and SVN.
- Experimentation using cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- A high level of interpersonal and collaborative abilities is necessary to work efficiently with teammates and others.
