Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical aspects of initiatives in innovation, thereby serving as a key enabler in delivering results against challenging issues.
• Collaboration with global project teams from Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to design the most advanced solutions for analytics.
• Develop, design and maintain predictive analytical and predictive models to tackle the most pressing problems in processes and increase the quality of products.
• Manage and build key pipelines of data across various worldwide sites, while ensuring reliable and fault-tolerant processes control strategies.
• Collaborate with the equipment and process authorities to determine relevant data for analysis. Contribute to the development of models for data to enhance analysis capabilities.
• Create new analytics tools, predictive modeling techniques, and visualization methods to improve user experience and improve decision-making.
• Conduct research outside of the company to suggest new analytical modeling tools, protocols, and services to boost smart manufacturing strategies.
• Utilize data technology as well as reliability engineering in order to cut operational costs and increase efficiency.
• Develop and maintain work processes to implement and maintain predictive modeling models as well as standards as well as data analysis methodologies.
• Find and fix performance issues in prognostic models, to assure consistency in results.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree or higher is required in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Machine Learning techniques and advanced analytics.
  • Expertise in tools for data science, such as Python, R, SAS, Azure ML, Matlab, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • A working knowledge of functional programming and scripting language (e.g., .NET, VB, C++, Python, Matlab).
  • Experience with data architecture concepts such as relational databases, big data warehouses, data warehouse management as well as data query.
  • Experience using data engineering tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, or Knime.
  • Mechatronic system understanding as well as the first concepts (combining mechanical, process control, electrical and engineering systems).
• Experience:
  • Expertise in managing concurrent priorities with ease in Agile settings (SCRUM, Kanban) and work in DevOps or CI/CD settings.
  • Experience with designing visualizations to improve the experience of users and facilitate decision-making.
  • Experience to IT safety and security concepts in today’s data environments.
• Soft Skills:
  • Effective communication skills to communicate complicated data models and analytics strategies to peers in the technical field as well as leaders of teams.
  • Analytical mindset that allows you to formulate hypotheses, draw insights from unstructured and structured data to transform the raw information into useful data.
  • A collaborative attitude that focuses on innovation and the capacity to evaluate business processes to discover opportunities for improvement.
