Job Overview

The role of the Executive at IPPB includes direct sales leads, lead generation, and coordination to help drive business growth via business Correspondent arrangement between IPPB and the Department of Posts (DoP). The candidates selected will work in one of the more than 650 bank branches throughout India, which contributes to the goals of promoting financial literacy and the banking system across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach monthly revenue goals through direct selling in the form of IPPB products.
• Plan events for customer acquisition and a campaign to increase financial literacy.
• Conduct workshops in conjunction with GDS regarding IPPB Services and products.
• Work together with DoP Inspectors (Sub-division) and Postmasters to boost the sales of IPPB and other third-party products.
• Assist GDS in finding potential customers for IPPB and other partner organisations.
• Aid IPPB officers with operational tasks.
• Establish and manage the strategic relationship with channel partners to help meet the business objectives.
• Perform other duties as required by IPPB.

• Designation: Executive

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants should meet the criteria on 1 August 2025

• Age Limit: Between 20 and 35 years old
• Academic Qualification: Achieved a degree from any field (regular or distance learning) from an institution, university, or body recognised in the Government of India or approved by a Government Regulatory Body.
• Experience: Not required.
• Extra Requirement: There are no pending investigations or disciplinary proceedings, and applicants are not under any punishment when they apply.

Pay and Benefits

• Monthly Pay: Rs. 30,000 (Excluding the statutory deductions and contributions).
• Tax Deductions: Applicable as per the Income Tax Act.
• Incentives and Increments: Annual increases and performance-based incentive programs for business acquisition/sales as established by the IPPB.
• Note: There are no additional pay allowances, bonuses, or other compensation that will be offered beyond the amount stated.

Selection Process

The process of selection is designed to select the best candidates based on merit.

• A merit list will be compiled by the bank outlet, and is primarily determined by how many of marks earned at graduation.
• IPPB is entitled to hold a test online should it be required.
• If there is a chance of identical grades at graduation, preference is given to those with the longest duration of service at DoP. If the seniority of both candidates is equal, the birth date will be taken into consideration.
• Candidates must submit their exact marks earned in graduation (up to 2 decimal places), determined by dividing the total marks earned by the maximum marks achieved in all subjects.
• To be awarded grades by universities (e.g. GPA/CGPA), applicants need to convert their grades into equivalent percentages using the formula supplied by the institution they are applying to. Incorrect percentages could result in rejection of applications.
• The candidates are suggested to acquire the No Objection Certificate (NOC) through the parent company and provide security clearances and penalties at the time of document verification.
• The engagement with IPPB will only begin after the completion of the DoP removal formalities.
• Being eligible is not a guarantee of acceptance. The results will be announced via the IPPB website.
