InfoEdge Off Campus Drive – SDET Hiring Challenge 2025-26

InfoEdge Off Campus Drive: InfoEdge, via its Naukri Campus Platform, invites skilled B.Tech students who will graduate in 2026 to join an exciting multi-round challenge to hire on Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) posts. This is a chance for candidates to show their technical skills as well as problem-solving abilities and an enthusiasm for testing software, and the chance to land permanent employment and an 8th-semester job in InfoEdge’s Noida office.

About the Hiring Challenge

The challenge of hiring is a well-organised selection procedure designed to find top engineers for SDET positions. It is comprised of two major phases:

1. Online Assessment

• Duration: 120 minutes
• Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) + questions based on Coding
• Requirements:
  • Desktop or laptop with access to a webcam
  • High-speed internet connectivity

2. Technical and HR Interviews

• The event was conducted in InfoEdge’s Noida office
• Examines technical competence ability to solve problems, problem-solving capabilities, and cultural compatibility

Successful candidates who can pass each round will be given an interview for the SDET position, which could lead to a permanent job offer as well as an internship for the 8th semester with InfoEdge.

Roles and Responsibilities

The SDET job is a combination of testing and software development skills to ensure the highest quality of software products. The main responsibilities are:

• Constructing, designing and executing automated test scripts for existing and new features
• Working with developers of software and product managers to comprehend requirements and design complete test plans for testing
• Documenting, identifying, and monitoring software bugs and defects
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance testing automation tools as well as tools
• Collaboration with development teams replicate and fixes issues
• Continuously learning and applying the latest methods and technologies to enhance processes

Required Skills

Candidates should have a solid foundation in analytical and technical skills, such as:

• At least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, Python, C++ or C#
• A solid understanding of the life cycle of software development (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience with different software testing methods
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures
• A strong problem-solving ability and a logical mindset
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to utilize the power of generative AI tools to increase productivity, for example, by producing tests, optimizing codes or helping in the documentation process

Desired Skills

While not required, the following abilities will make candidates more competitive:

• Understanding of the concepts of software testing and the principles of test automation
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• A basic understanding of database concepts and tools for CI/CD, such as Jenkins
• Experience working with API testing with tools such as Postman

• All are welcome to B.E./B.Tech students from all branches who will graduate in 2026.
