Key Responsibilities

• Clean, collect and analyse large quantities of data in order to find patterns and reveal relevant insights.
• Create reports, dashboards and other charts using tools such as Excel, as well as Power BI or Tableau, to effectively display information.

• Create effective SQL queries that eliminate and alter data from relational databases.

• Ensuring the reliability of the data as well as the consistency across all systems by regular inspection and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 0 to 1 years of knowledge in the analysis of data that includes relevant academic or research work.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and visualisation tools for data, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Google Data Studio.
• Working knowledge of Python and R to complete the basic tasks for data processing and analysis.
• An understanding of data cleaning, Wrangling, and other methods to analyse data.
• Knowledge of basic statistics used for economic and business metrics.
• Certifications with relevance (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Excel Specialist or Power BI Analyst) can be beneficial.
• Incredible ability to think and analyse critically.
• Skills for communication that include being adept at speech and writing ability that allows you to communicate complex details clearly.
• Ability to work on your own, while working effectively in a group setting.
• The ability to adapt and learn in an ever-changing environment.
