About the Role
In your role as the IT Asset Management Analyst, you will perform a crucial role in the management of the lifecycle of IT assets, making sure they run smoothly, as well as supporting Deloitte experts by giving them the tools needed to succeed. Your job will centre around the three Controls, Compliance, and Customer Service–to keep the integrity and effectiveness of the IT process for managing assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Tracking as well as Inventory Management: Perform physically-based inventory count, compare information with asset tracking systems and ensure that accurate records are kept for the totality of IT assets.
- Data Management: Conduct timely and precise data entry into Asset tracking systems and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the data.
- Security and Compliance: Follow strictly IT Security and Asset Management guidelines for compliance with the organisational and regulatory requirements.
- ServiceNow Experience: Use ServiceNow’s ServiceNow software to control and monitor IT asset-related issues and requests effectively.
- Purchase and Disposal: assist in IT procurement of assets and oversee the secure disposal of old assets.
- Optimising Stock: Control and monitor levels of stocks to ensure efficient use and reduce the amount of waste.
- Problem Escalation: Determine and escalate issues that need management intervention in order to ensure their timely resolution.
- Process Enhancement: Find opportunities to simplify and improve the management of assets without sacrificing quality or conformity.

Qualifications

- Education Background: BE/BTech in Mechanical, IT or any other engineering stream and an MBA with a specialisation in Operations or Finance at institutions of Tier 2 or Tier 3 institutions.
- Certificates: ITIL Foundation Certification is essential. A second qualification in inventory management, asset management and supply chain management is an added benefit.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of expertise in IT, managing the lifecycle of assets, including tracking inventory, accountability for assets and security of assets.
- Technical skills: A good understanding of ServiceNow as well as similar tools for generating tickets, as well as fundamental knowledge of IT processes for acquiring assets.
- Soft Skill: Attention to detail, great communication skills, in addition to the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
