Analyst – Audit & Assurance Quality & Risk is a key role in ensuring compliance with Australian Auditing Standards as well as Deloitte’s internal procedures. This job requires an extremely active, punctual individual who can oversee multiple projects with tight deadlines. The job involves technical assistance, conducting checks to ensure compliance and making use of data analytics to improve the accuracy of audits, as well as processes for managing risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep up-to-date with standards: Be sure that auditors are up-to-date with the most current standards and requirements of standards like the Australian Auditing Standards and other professional standards that helps them to adhere to the highest standards of practice.
  • Tech support: Provide directions on how to use this manual and the Deloitte Audit Approach Manual and Deloitte Policy Manual to ensure accuracy and uniformity when auditing assignments.
  • The audit and the reporting: Conduct full compliance checks and submit audit reports, identify areas that require improvement and ensure that the audit conforms to the regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, Business Accounting, Finance or a related area.

  • Experience with Australian Auditing Standards or similar rules is useful.
