Key Responsibilities
The candidates selected will receive on-the-job training and will assist with departmental tasks while gaining technical expertise. They will be required to:
- Attending all training programs that are assigned.
- Training and completing departmental tasks
- Assisting in the coordination and monitoring of the assigned tasks
- Installation of Windows Operating Systems on standalone servers
- Installing operating systems like Linux, Solaris, HP UNIX and AIX
- Maintaining test setups and configurations is a requirement for engineering teams.
- Responding to lab requests made by engineers
- The deployment and creation of virtual machines within VMware vCenter environments
- Supporting basic technical and infrastructure-related activities
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or a similar discipline
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Windows as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of the basics of Windows OS installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic introduction towards Linux operating systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP troubleshooting techniques
Preferred Skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to effectively communicate with team members from the top
- Teamwork and collaboration skills are strong.
