Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimise software with C as well as C++ to run embedded applications that run in multi-threaded or multi-process environments.
• Utilise real-time operating systems like Linux, VxWorks, and QNX to guarantee system performance.
• Develop and implement interprocess communication tools and mechanisms to speed up the process development and debugging.
• Support resolution of problems reported by customers through a detailed analysis of the root causes.
• Analyze the system’s scalability as well as integration issues, as well as problems with performance in software that is large scale.
• Create diagnostics with built-in diagnostics as well as test codes and other features that improve the overall reliability of your system.
• Create distributed architecture solutions that provide seamless communication across various interfaces, such as Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, and ModBus.
• Manage the IP protocol, configurations for VLANs and Ethernet switching to ensure solid network integration.
• Collaboration on Jira-based project tracking, while also maintaining the highest standards for quality of code and documentation.

Required Skills and Expertise

• A strong command of C++ programming and the C programming language used for embedded development.
• A solid knowledge of the operating system backed by real-world experience in Linux, VxWorks, and QNX environments.
• Experience with development using Linux, Jira, and various inter-process communication methods.
• Experiential working experience on an embedded system that uses various physical layer protocols as well as distributed computing.
• The knowledge of the Qt framework can be highly desirable.
• Expert analytical, debugging and integration skills required for complex software projects.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills with demonstrated multitasking abilities.
