In your role as Associate Software Engineer at 66degrees, you’ll work with an international team of cloud experts and data specialists who are working on cutting-edge software solutions that incorporate microservices, AI/ML, along cloud technology.
This job is perfect for students who are new to the field and interested in programming, learning and solving business issues in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend as well as frontend components for cloud-based applications.
- Work with teams across functional lines to develop scalable, manageable cloud-based solutions.
- Write efficient, clean and flexible code with Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks.
- Assist with cloud deployment and configurations for CI/CD using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps tools.
- Debug, test and optimise your applications for speed and scalability.
- Take part in scrums with the team and peer reviews, and agile sprints to provide top-of-the-line solutions.
- Contribute to R&D initiatives in areas such as machine learning integration as well as analytics pipelines for data, analytics pipelines, as well as AI-powered applications development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: B.E/B.Tech – Computer Science, Information Technology (2025 graduates).
- Skills Required:
- Solid foundations for object-oriented programming and data structures, and algorithms.
- Practice hands-on with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
- An analytical mindset that is backed by a solid method of problem-solving.
- The desire to learn, grow and participate in an environment of collaboration.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
