Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Consultant I the job involves providing guidance and support to Deloitte Tax’s U.S. service lines, which include:

• Assistance in U.S. federal, state and international tax returns planning, preparation, as well as tax accounting.
• Consulting support for compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements.
• Involved in Tax Technology consultation and implementation of indirect and direct tax strategies.
• Employing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as well as tax engines to improve processes.
• Collaboration with teams to offer ideas and new strategies to navigate complex tax-related landscapes that are complex.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this position, Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Full-time Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree that has a minimum of 60 percent or an equivalent CGPA.
• A solid foundational understanding of accounting concepts.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to tackle complex issues.
• Focused on detail, this professional has excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word.
• An inherent aptitude for adapting and learning new technologies.
