Round 1: Online Coding Test

Questions: 3 Programming Problems
Languages Allowed: Python, Java, GoLang
The Time Duration: 2 hours 30 mins
Difficulty Level: Medium to Advanced
Assessment Areas: Data Structures and Algorithms, Problem-Solving and Optimisation, Backend and API Design, Logic

About the Role

As a Backend Engineer with Netcore Cloud, you will be working on large-scale distributed systems that run Netcore’s email campaigns, analytics, and platforms that are used by more than five hundred global brands. The job involves the design of microservices with low latency and fault tolerance that manage real-time data processing and billions of transactions per day.

Key Responsibilities

Create or scale APIs for the backend as well as data services to ensure massive throughput and low latency.
Design systems that are robust and capable of handling more than 10 million operations per second.
Create dashboards in real-time that offer KPIs to stakeholders and clients.
Use Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, as well as AWS Lambda, to achieve the ability to scale your system.
Perform the entire process of development of features from conception through deployment.
Collaboration with DevOps, Product, and Data Engineering teams for integration.
Troubleshoot issues with performance and optimise configurations for backends.

Required Skills

0 to 7 years of background in development of backends employing the language Go (Golang), Java and Python.
A thorough knowledge of algorithms, data structures and system design.
Experience with developing APIs, microservices and distributed architectures.
Practical understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ or various queueing systems.
A familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes as well and Docker for cloud-based services.
Solid debugging skills, optimisation of performance and analytical abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

Expertise: From 0-7 years (freshers and professionals who are eligible).
Learning to program: Python, Java and Go (any one of them is required).
Available for: Candidates across India who may move to Mumbai in the event of being they are selected.
