About C-DAC

C-DAC is a national institute that is driving India’s ICT&E (Information Communication Technologies and Electronics) capabilities with innovative research and invention of new products and IP generation, as well as technology transfer and deployment in crucial areas. C-DAC works closely with MeitY to develop plans and policies for the nation in IT.

Terms of Engagement

  • The positions are contractual and based on consolidated emoluments for up to three years or for project duration, whichever is first, which may be extended depending on the performance.
  • Contractual employees do NOT have claims for regular appointment.
  • The candidates who have been selected could have to be employed at any site in India according to the needs of the organisation.

Qualification & Experience

  • Candidates must be graduates of AICTE/UGC accredited colleges or universities.
  • For systems of evaluation based on CGPA/DGPA, applicants must provide an official Percentage and Class certificate.
  • Candidates for the final semester may apply for admission, but joining is contingent upon passing the qualifying exam with a minimum score.
  • Only post-qualifications that are valid and certified as post-qualification experiences will be assessed.
  • Research internships and academic research that are not paid work are not considered to be experience unless explicitly stated.
  • The decision on experience eligibility rests exclusively with C-DAC.
  • More experienced candidates will receive an additional salary increment according to the C-DAC policy.

Age Limit and Relaxations

  • Age limits for upper age vary based on the location and are specified in the formal announcement.
  • Reservations and relaxations apply as per the Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen.
  • Pay scale employees of the government can enjoy a 5-year age relaxation, in addition to other relaxations applicable.
  • Birth certificate needed via SSLC/SSC/ISC mark sheet or another acceptable document.
  • Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificates must adhere to DoPT’s standard format.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must produce valid and current certificates with the required format.

Selection Procedure

  • The screening of eligibility based on the academic records and experiences is the primary screening.
  • Cutoffs and minimum eligibility requirements can be increased in the event of a large number of applicants.
  • Selection decisions are based on a written test (if relevant) and interview performance, and the overall profile.
  • Candidates must provide authentic and authentic documents. Any falsification or omission of information can lead to disqualification, at any time, including a subsequent annulment.
  • The review of applications and the shortlisting of candidates will be handled by the C-DAC centres in each of the regions.

Application Process and Instructions

  • The application must be made online and only via C-DAC’s official C-DAC portal.
  • An active and valid e-mail identity and mobile phone number should be kept active throughout the selection process of selecting.
  • Upload a recent passport-sized photo (.jpg, Maximum 400KB) as well as a resume (.pdf, Maximum 500KB).
  • Candidates working in PSUs or Government departments must apply through the proper channels with the required NOC at the time of interview.
  • The application of paper is not acceptable. Incomplete or incorrect web-based applications can be refused.
  • Legal disputes are subject to the Bangalore courtroom.
