Job Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Engineer, your main responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service via calls both inbound and outbound. Principal responsibilities include:

  • Offers Support via Voice: helping customers with their concerns via phone. We also offer simple, secure, professional and efficient communication to help resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Provides First-Time Resolution: Be sure to address the customers’ concerns in one conversation, focusing on satisfaction with the customer and accuracy regarding technical issues.
  • Collaboration with technical teams: Working closely with technical experts to address and solve complex problems while ensuring fast response times.
  • Identifying Knowledge Gaps: Collaboration with our Technical Content team to determine areas for enhancement in the assistance modules and also in documentation. This will improve users’ experience.
  • Adapt to schedules that are flexible: Be prepared for night shifts, which allow for international time zones of customers.

This job requires strong communication abilities, a customer-centric approach and the ability to excel in a highly-paced, technologically-driven work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

To become the top engineering support technician, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge: A working knowledge of cloud-based software, cloud-based applications cloud-based software and IT systems. A working understanding of tools for CRM or helpdesk software can be an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities in English and the ability to communicate the technical aspects simply.
  • Skills to solve problems: Strong analytical skills to tackle technical problems effectively.
  • Customers’ Focus: A passion for helping customers and ensuring that they are satisfied with any interaction.
  • Collaboration between teams: The capability to seamlessly collaborate across functional teams to achieve the same objectives.
  • Flexible: Ability to work at night and be able to adapt to shifts in work schedules.
  • The educational background: A degree or diploma in computer science, or a related field, is desirable but not necessary.

Experience in technical or customer service support roles is advantageous but not essential since thorough training is given to the most qualified candidates.
