Job Overview

• Position: Graduate Software Engineer/Application Developer/Tester
• Location: Bangalore, India
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Compensation:
  • Fixed: the rate is INR 6.95 Lakhs per annum
  • Variable: Fixed salary 12%
  • Joining Bonus: 1 lakh (paid post-training evaluation with a one-year clawback provision)

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain software that is aligned with the selected track (Cloud and DevOps, FSD .NET, FSD-React and Node, as well as Data Analytics and Automated testing).
• Work with teams of cross-functional experts to create and implement new healthcare solutions.
• Take part in a 9-week intense training program designed to develop technical skills.
• Write clear, efficient, and scalable scripts or code in accordance with the industry standard.
• Conduct thorough tests to ensure that you receive high-quality products.
• Contribute to problem-solving and analysis tasks in support of the project’s goals.

Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s level degree is required with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar disciplines (2024/2025 graduate).
• A solid understanding of the fundamentals of programming (any of Java, Python, C# and SQL).
• Achieved excellent analytical skills, as well as numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to move to Bangalore (no relocation allowances are offered).
• Interviews in person are available in Bangalore (travel and hotel expenses not covered).
• The commitment to attend the nine-week programme of instruction with no leave, except during holidays as per Cigna’s calendar.

1. Online Assessment:

2. Personal Interview:
   • The event was held in Cigna’s Bangalore office.
   • Candidates must appear in person, no remote interviews.
3. Offer Letter:
   • It was released on the exact same date as an interview day for candidates who have been successful.
4. Training Program:
   • 9-week intensive, intense training on one area: Cloud & DevOps, FSD .NET, FSD React & Node. Data Analytics and Automated Testing.
   • There are no leaves during this time frame, except during Cigna holidays.
5. Post-Training Assessment:
   • Candidates must be able to pass a test in order to verify their employment and get the bonus for joining.
6. Employment Confirmation:
   • Full-time job starts upon successful completion of training as well as evaluation.

Important Notes

• Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • Candidates must be present for the in-person interview in Bangalore on the dates specified. In the event of non-attendance, it will result in the disqualification of candidates.
  • The relocation to Bangalore is a requirement upon choice (no relocation assistance offered).
  • No leave is permitted during the time of training except for specified holidays.
