A Consulting Support Services Intern will be a vital part of aiding in the creation of business operations reports by helping to create and maintain dashboards and reports. This job focuses on providing relevant information to business leaders, such as Partners and Senior Management, with precise data analysis and visualization. The intern will collaborate with teams from across the functional spectrum, using tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to drive data proficiency in addition to operational efficiency.

This job gives an opportunity to gain hands-on experience dealing with data from time series processes, manufacturing, operational and data. The job requires a detailed approach, excellent analytical skills and the desire to be a student. Candidates will have the opportunity to experience real-world business issues, and contribute to successful projects while learning technical and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Visualization: Collect clean data and analyse data to generate useful insights. Create visualizations of operational and time series data with tools available on Power platforms.
• Dashboard and Report Development: Help in creating operating dashboards as well as reports that are tailored to the needs of the business while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Multi-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with different teams to comprehend the requirements of data and assist in data-driven decision-making processes.
• Data wrangling: Clean up data and prepare for modelling analytics, making sure to have the highest quality of data to be used for analysis.
• Insight Reporting: Report results and recommendations to the stakeholders in a clear manner, presenting the complex concepts of data in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Help with Projects: Participate in projects that require data to ensure their successful completion with active engagement and attention to particulars.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Analytical Mindset: Skills for problem solving and the ability to analyze data and recognize patterns.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is helpful.
• Communicating Skills: Written and oral communication to effectively communicate information to a wide range of people.
• Attention to Detail: A focus on precision and quality throughout the entire process, including data cleaning and report creation.

Qualifications

• Education: a person who has or just completed a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. A master’s degree in an area of study that is related to it is desirable.
• An interest in Data: A deep passion for data analysis, reports, along business operations.
• Experiential (Preferred): Previous internship or project experience in operations for business and data analysis, as well as reporting, is beneficial but not necessary.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools to visualize data, such as Power BI, is highly desirable.
