An Associate QA Analyst will work under the supervision of a general manager to carry out quality assurance tests for complicated software applications. Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis and Test Planning: Review and comprehend the requirements of your project, aid in the development of comprehensive test plans and help with test estimations for automated and manual testing procedures.
- Testing Case Creation and Execution: Plan, write and then execute tests to ensure compliance with products. Seamless implementation of client projects.
- Controlling Defects: Defect Management: Report defects, track test results, and work with other team members to ensure prompt resolution of problems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, technical Leads, Managers, Business Analysts, as well as other project stakeholders during all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Solution to Issues: Work with Development teams and Business Analysts to solve and resolve problems efficiently.
- Documentation and Escalation: Document and track issues, then escalate them as required to ensure the project timelines, along with quality standards, are adhered to.
- The process of identifying risks: Proactively identify risk by seeking out managerial support to discuss and minimise the potential risks.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s qualification or equivalent in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable knowledge.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with aplomb and organization abilities.
- Ability to work as a team in a group-oriented setting.
- A basic understanding of the fundamentals of software testing (manual and automated) is a must.
- Effective communication abilities to work across functional teams.
- Experience: There is No prior relevant experience is required; however, having some experience with testing software and quality assurance is helpful.
