This Site Reliability Engineer role involves providing high availability as well as resilience, and performance of distributed systems in multiple data centres. The expert in this job creates automation frameworks, manages cloud infrastructure, and works with teams across functional lines to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring and management. The job will suit those motivated by problem-solving solving cloud operations, cloud-based solutions and continual improvement of the reliability of systems.
Required Skills and Technical Proficiency
- Experience of 0 to 2 years in two years of experience in Site Reliability Cloud Automation and Infrastructure Operations.
- Experience with scripting in a hands-on manner using Bash, Shell, or Python.
- A working knowledge of at minimum one programming language like C, C++, Java, or Python.
- The understanding of commands for networks and other utilities, such as ping, netstat, traceroute, as well as ssh/scp. The tcpdump utility and Wireshark.
- A working knowledge of any CI/CD concept or instrument (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, as well as custom-built pipelines).
- Basic exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform is an added advantage.
- Understanding of SRE concepts like SLIs, SLOs, SLAs and budgets for errors.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes containers, Kubernetes, and microservices deployment.
- Ability to detect problems at the application and network level quickly and effectively.
- Willingness to learn about the latest cloud technology and to adapt to the changing DevOps methods.
Additional Preferences
- Experience with or exposure to the major cloud platforms such as AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), as well as Microsoft Azure.
- An understanding of modern log aggregation, observability stacks, along metrics display.
- A solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command line interfaces.
- Analytical approach to troubleshooting and enhancing distributed systems.
- Communication and interpersonal skills are strong to ensure effective cooperation across departmental lines.

The selection process is based on merit with a focus on technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted to schedule additional interviews. The 2026 graduating batch is not suitable to be considered for this particular hiring cycle.
