Role Overview
- Location: Remote / Bangalore, India

A Product Management Intern will collaborate closely with Product Managers who are experienced to guide the development of products from concept to implementation. The role will provide direct experience of the entire lifecycle of products, allowing participation in market research as well as user feedback analysis as well and feature launch. This intern plays an important part in supporting teams across functional lines in delivering innovative solutions that are in line with Zepto’s mission of speed, ease of use, along customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse the needs of customers: assist in analysing customer preferences as well as market trends to help inform the development of product strategies.
- Create Product Documentation: Facilitate the creation of product requirements documents (PRDs) along with user-related stories that help teams working on development.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration: Collaboration together with design, engineering and the business team to make sure that features are developed seamlessly and deployed.
- Track and report on Performance: Track and report on the product’s performance metrics and create elaborate reports to share the results with other stakeholders.
- Contribute Ideas for Creative Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose new solutions and enhancements to the product.
- Conduct Competitive Analysis: Compare Zepto’s products against other companies to find areas to improve and differentiate.
Qualifications
- Education: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related area.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyse data, spot trends and work through issues using a thorough method.
- Communication: Clear and efficient communication abilities, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to convey ideas confidently.
- An interest in Technology: Passionate about the design of products, technology, and business strategies in a fast-paced startup culture.
- Collaboration: The ability to excel in a team-oriented environment, working with teams of different backgrounds to reach common goals.
- Technical Proficient: Experienced with MS Office or Google Workspace, and familiarity with the product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms is an advantage.
