The primary responsibility of the Test Engineer is to ensure that every product, platform, or solution is thoroughly tested and meets all quality assurance standards prior to deployment. You will be instrumental in providing reliable, high-quality software to clients by preparing and executing test cases and supporting the entire testing lifecycle from planning to defect tracking and resolution.

Test Planning and Execution
- Analyze and comprehend business requirements to formulate testable conditions and design test cases.

- Adopt Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach to optimize and scale test generation.
- Create and develop automated scripts using VB macros, GUI automation tools, or scripting languages as warranted.
- Continuously refine automation frameworks to boost efficiency and minimize manual effort.
- Ensure the effective use of test management tools for creating test cases, reporting defects, and tracking progress.
Quality Assurance and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, scenarios, use cases, and bug reports.
- Document all defects with reproducible steps, severity, and impact analysis in detail.
- Prepare and distribute regular testing status reports, including dashboards and summaries, following each testing cycle.
- Offer feedback and insights regarding usability, performance, and overall product quality.
Collaboration and Communication
- Facilitate effective communication with cross-functional teams through thorough documentation, calls, and updates.
- Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from customers or stakeholders concerning testing activities.
- Work closely with customer-facing teams to ensure that the final product meets end-user expectations.
- Accurately and timely update effort tracking systems (e.g., eCube, TMS).
