Job Summary: Trainee – Manual Testing

As a Manual Testing – Trainee, you will contribute towards a product through the quality of the testing you perform. You’ll configure systems, work on developing test cases, prepare test data and perform tests to ensure they meet the client’s expectations. Suitable for graduates that have strong programming logic, system configuration, and software testing background, in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, to get on the job training.

• Job: Trainee – Manual Testing (Full-Time)
• Location: Wipro, Building 2, Candor Techspace, IT/ITES SEZ, Tikri, Sector-48, Gurgaon -122001, Haryana
• Interview Location: Will be released on the Call Letter
• Eligibility: BE-(MECH, CSE, ECE, IT), B.Tech, MCA – Year of completion 2024
• Working Shift: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM
• Transportation: Round-trip transportation is available
• Service Contract: 12-month service agreement

Key Responsibilities

As a Manual Testing Trainee you will:

• Configure systems: Establishment of required tables/parameters in Wipro’s system for configuration of Wipro’s proprietary JPMC tools based on client Processes.
• Test Case Creation: Spec out and write comprehensive and effective test cases, test data to ensure the functional validity of the system.
• Conduct Testing: Execute manual testing activities to validate accuracy and quality of systems, and to ensure systems meet client expectations.
• Work with Teams: Partner closely with SAs to ensure testing objectives are in synch with overall project objectives.
• Requirements: Utilize strong analytical abilities and logical thinking to interpret requirements from customer and guarantee correct system setup.
• Document results: Document test results, issues, and findings as well as communicate critical information to ensure system functionality is maintained.

Technical Skills Required

To succeed in this position, you’ll need:

• Knowledge of SDLC: Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles and concepts.
• Proficient in SQL: Able to generate complex/simple SQL queries for validating data and system process.
• Testing Skills: Understanding of manual testing methodologies, test cases, and defect tracking.
