Key Responsibilities
- Data Processing and Collection: Collect data from various external and internal sources and ensure accuracy by cleaning and arranging it to be analysed.
- Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct an in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to assist in achieving business goals.
- Reporting and Visualisation: Create and keep interactive reports, dashboards and visualisations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to effectively communicate results.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks and validations to ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of data across datasets.
- Participation of Stakeholders: Engage team members and other stakeholders to identify business needs and translate requirements into solutions based on data.
- Documentation: Document clearly the process, analysis and suggestions for transparency and sharing of knowledge.
- Ad-Hoc support: Help the team working on data projects and carry out ad-hoc studies to solve specific business issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education Background: Currently studying or just completed an academic degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or another related field.
- Technical Skills: The ability to master Microsoft Excel and a foundational knowledge of SQL for managing and querying data.
- Visualisation Tool: Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to create stunning visual representations.
- Statistics Know-how: Basic understanding of statistical techniques and techniques for data analysis to gain meaningful insights.
- Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical abilities with an eye for detail to recognise and solve data-related issues.
- Communications: Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities to communicate complex concepts concisely and concisely.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Programming: Experience using Python and R to do advanced analyses of your data or scripting.
- ETL Processing: Know-how of the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes as well as database management concepts.
- Business acumen: Understanding of the most important performance indicators (KPIs) as well as business-related metrics that ensure that analyses are aligned with the organisational goals.
