Your Mission as a Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer for customers, you’ll play a key part in connecting our customers’ data ecosystems using our AI-powered inventory and price software. Customers will work closely with you to identify their requirements for data, develop efficient data pipelines that can scale, and ensure that seamless integrations improve operational efficiency. In collaboration with one of our Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers, you’ll contribute to the development of solutions that make a difference for our customers. What You’ll Do at UiPath
- Engage with Customers: Engage with customer participants to better understand their information structures, their business goals and requirements for technical support.
- Create Expandable Data Pipelines: Create, build, and maintain high-performance, secure data pipelines that allow seamless data flows.
- Transform and integrate data: Transform and prepare client data to be integrated into our price and inventory software to ensure the compatibility of AI or machine learning algorithms.
- Make sure that the data quality is maintained: Implement processes to ensure accuracy of data as well as consistency and conformity with business and regulatory standards.
- Develop outbound integrations: Develop and manage secure data integrations to systems of customers, assuring accuracy in data as well as operational continuity.
- Monitor and optimise: Create monitoring for jobs that require data ingestion and address any issues to ensure continuous performance.
- Document and communicate: Document clearly workflows for data and present technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive Continuous improvement: Deliver tangible feedback for Product and Engineering teams to improve data ingestion and integration processes.
- Help to improve Best Practices: Develop and improve techniques and tools for data ingestion to improve the efficiency of Professional Services. Professional Services team.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We’re seeking a talented Data Engineer who can combine technical knowledge with a focus on customer service. What we’re looking for is:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient with Python as well as DBT in data automation and transformation, and advanced expertise in SQL as well as Snowflake for managing large databases and queries.
- ETL and integration: Experience gained through hands-on work with ETL processes, Data integration tools, and Integrations based on APIs.
- Cloud experience: Experience with cloud platforms, specifically the AWS cloud platform (our platform’s base) and an understanding of Azure and GCP as an advantage.
- Communicative Skills: Outstanding ability to work with customers and translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Mentality of Problem Solving: Strong analytical abilities and attention to the finer details, and a flair for tackling complex data issues.
- Compliance Know-how Knowledge of procedures for data security and compliance to handle sensitive data.
- Domain experience: Experience using inventory, pricing or similar enterprise applications is an advantage but is not necessary.
