TCS Free National Qualifier Test 2025 – Your Pathway to Success
The TCS NQT employs a comprehensive test structure to evaluate and select candidates for various roles within TCS. Candidates will be considered for one of the following hiring categories based on their test performance:
- Prime
- Digital
- Ninja
The final offer classification is based on the overall performance throughout the selection process.
TCS Free National Qualifier Test 2025 Key Information
- Registration Period: Now Open
- Registration Deadline: March 23, 2025 (Sunday)
- Test Date: Starting from March 15, 2025 (Saturday)
- Test Format: In-center (Candidates must select three preferred test centers)
TCS Free National Qualifier Test 2025 Eligibility Requirements
The TCS NQT is open to candidates graduating in 2025 with the following academic qualifications from AICTE/UGC-recognized institutions:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
- Master of Technology (M.Tech)
- Master of Engineering (M.E)
- Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A)
- Master of Science (M.Sc / M.S)
Candidates must fulfill these academic criteria:
- Minimum Aggregate: 60% or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, diploma (if applicable), graduation, and post-graduation (if applicable).
- Backlogs: No active backlogs permitted at the time of selection.
- Extended Education: Courses must be completed within the designated timeframe.
- Educational Gap: A maximum of 24 months allowed with valid documentation.
- Course Type: Only full-time courses are eligible; part-time and correspondence courses are not accepted.
- Work Experience: Candidates with up to 2 years of work experience (postgraduates only) are eligible.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 28 years old.
TCS Free National Qualifier Test 2025 Compensation & Job Roles
Candidates will be offered positions in one of three categories based on their test results:
Prime
- Compensation:
- Undergraduate (UG): ₹9.0 LPA
- Postgraduate (PG): ₹11.5 LPA
- Responsibilities:

Digital

The TCS NQT consists of two sections:

To apply for TCS NQT 2025, follow these steps:
- Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal
- Register and Apply:
- Scenario A: If already registered in the IT category, log in with your TCS Reference ID and click “Apply for Drive.”
- Scenario B: If new, click “Register Now,” choose IT as your category, fill out your details, and submit. Then click “Apply for Drive.”
- Select In-Center Mode: Choose your three preferred test centers and submit your application. (Test center allocation is subject to availability.)
- Verify Application Status: Check “Track Your Application.” It should show “Applied for Drive.”
