TCS HackQuest, initiated in 2016, is a leading competition aimed at discovering top talent in ethical hacking. Utilizing the popular “Capture the Flag” (CTF) format, the contest challenges participants to resolve a series of hacking scenarios within a six-hour period.

Challenges are divided into three tiers:

• Beginner – Aimed at newcomers in cybersecurity.
• Intermediate – For those with basic knowledge seeking to enhance their skills.
• Expert – Targeted at seasoned professionals ready to confront complex and innovative hacking tasks.

Participants are encouraged to take on challenges from all levels to showcase their adaptability in addressing a wide array of security issues. Exceptional participants will receive special prizes, certification, and potential job opportunities with the TCS Cyber Security Unit.

Eligibility Criteria For TCS Free Hiring 2025:

This competition is open to students in India graduating in the academic year 2025 with one of the following degrees (in any specialization):

• B. Tech / B.E.
• M. Tech / M.E.
• B.C.A. / M.C.A.
• B.Sc. / B.S. / M.Sc. / M.S.

Participants must fulfill these requirements For TCS HackQuest Season 9:

• Currently enrolled in a recognized academic institution in India.
• Participation is as individuals only (team entries are not permitted).
• A valid TCS NextStep reference ID (CT/DT number) is required.
• There are no registration or participation fees.

How to Register To TCS Free Hiring 2025:

1. Create a TCS NextStep Reference ID
   Visit the TCS NextStep Portal, select the “IT” section, and complete the registration to obtain a unique reference ID.
2. Register for HackQuest
   Log into the HackQuest portal and finish the registration process using your TCS NextStep ID.

TCS Free Hiring 2025 Contest Structure:

TCS HackQuest consists of two rounds:

• Round 1: Online Challenge
  Duration: 6 hours. Participants log into the platform to tackle challenges across the Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert categories. Topics may include:

  • Reverse engineering
