Key Responsibilities

  • Create efficient, reusable and scalable frontend systems as well as abstractions for web applications of the future.

  • Participate in code reviews and design to ensure the integrity of your prototypes and apps.
  • Connect with teams across functional lines, which include managers of products, UX designers, and engineers working on backend, to create seamless front-end solutions.

Required Skills

  • A solid understanding of web fundamentals. The web fundamentals include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing and platforms in JavaScript.
  • Practical experience with at minimum at least one UI framework, for example React the Angular 4+, Vue or Polymer.
  • A knowledge of ES6 and over.
  • A working knowledge of TypeScript to build type-safe apps.
  • Experience with web-based bundling tools such as Webpack, ParcelJS, or Rollup.
  • Experience with design patterns and techniques for writing clean, reliable and reusable code.
  • Understanding the challenges of compatibility between cross-browser browsers and possible solutions.
  • A familiarity with the various systems for controlling version, specifically Git.
  • Ability to write unit test scenarios using the appropriate libraries and, preferably, E2E test cases with tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
  • Access to additional libraries like Redux, Redux Saga, Emotion or Lerna is an advantage.
