What You Will Do as a Software Engineer at Sutherland

As a software engineer in this full-time WAH position, you’ll have the chance to:

• Support the Team: Work on assigned technologies to develop and maintain new development, adhere to design principles and product requirements while understanding the overall impact of the design in digital transformation.
• Translate Vision into Reality: Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to define product requirements, translating them into actionable timelines for a successful project delivery.
• Drive Process Improvement: Find opportunities for improvements across the process and search for process automation or operational efficiencies, utilizing your expertise in your assigned areas to make the team’s output more efficient.
• Lead with Knowledge: Transfer advanced domain knowledge into the hands of team members and specialists, for efficient collaboration and project success.
• Inform Stakeholders: Track project details and deliver relevant, accurate communications to ensure stakeholders are in the loop.
• Establish Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, team, and senior leaders to understand needs, resolve issues, and exceed expectations.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate for this software engineering position will have experience with:

• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology, B.Sc. (Computers), BCA/MCA, or other Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computers/IT is an added plus.
• The Functional Stuff: Knowledge of Healthcare IT or IT Services Delivery is to haves – but we also know that you’re smart and will be able to find us some fancy subject matter experts (SME’s) in no time!
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar software engineering position, proficient with application development, testing, maintenance, or support.
