Candidate Requirements

Stripe is seeking driven, flexible applicants with solid fundamental skills and the desire to be creative. The requirements include:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field, if earned or expected to be completed by the summer of 2026. Work experience equivalent to the degree is taken into consideration.
• Experience in programming gained through research projects, as well as side hustles or previous internships. Stripe’s stack combines Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go, but a solid background in concepts of programming and the willingness to explore new languages are more crucial than specific expertise in a particular language.
