Key Responsibilities
As a junior software developer, the job entails developing and delivering effective AI/ML solutions.
- Create NLP-driven AI Solutions: Build and optimise solutions utilising advanced techniques such as known entities recognition (NER), embeddings, and text summarisation to develop intelligent applications.
- Make RAG Pipelines: Create and deploy Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and workflows that use agents to power intelligent, context-aware systems.
- Fine-tune Models (LLMs): Use models such as OpenAI Anthropic, Falcon, or LLaMA by applying fine-tuning techniques (LoRA and PEFT) along with prompting engineering to address particular domains.
- Collaboration across Teams: Collaborate with backend developers, data scientists and cloud developers to develop intelligent, scalable systems that conform to the requirements of enterprise standards.
- Incorporate Third-Party Tooling: Assess and integrate APIs, models and open-source libraries to create AI applications that are generative. AI applications.
- Monitor and optimise models: Continuously improve the model’s performance in terms of latency, performance, and precision in production environments by implementing the observability and explanation capabilities.
- Make sure you have reliability: Deliver solutions that meet the requirements of the enterprise for traceability, maintainability and the ability to scale.

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this job, Candidates must have the following qualifications and experiences:
- Academic Background: The requirement is A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
- AI/ML knowledge: The course will introduce students to AI/ML concepts, with emphasis on NLP and the generative AI technologies.
- Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge in LLM designs, fine-tuning techniques (LoRA PEFT), and techniques for vector search.
- Experience in designing and deploying RAG pipelines as well as multi-step agent architectures.
- Expertise in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, LlamaIndex, or Smol Agents.
- A familiarity with ML observation tools like TruEra, Arize, or WhyLabs.
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms, such as AWS Sagemaker, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML Studio or Azure AI Foundry.
- Production Experiential: Experience hands-on in integrating LLM-based agents into production environments and solving real-time NLP issues such as streaming and latency optimisation, and multi-turn dialogues.
- Orchestration and DevOps: Familiarity with LangGraph, function calling, and orchestration tools for agent-based systems, plus exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK) and DevOps for AI pipelines.
- Domain Expertise: Expertise in energy, electrification, and industrial AI can be an important advantage.
