Securonix Off Campus Drive: Securonix SECUROTHON 2025 offers an opportunity to enter the field of cybersecurity, which is at the forefront of technology. This contest for the hiring of engineers offers engineers of the future an opportunity to showcase their technical abilities and experience with cybersecurity tools that are AI-driven, as well as participate in real-world projects that utilise cloud-native technologies, microservices, and SaaS solutions. Participants will be guided by experts with years of experience. Position: Associate Software Engineer – Backend (Java / PHP)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech. With a focus on Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum CGPA: 7.5
• Eligible Batch: 2025 Graduates
• Experience Level: 0 – 1 Year
• Location of Work: Pune or Bangalore (as per the assignment)

Role Overview

• Method of Work: Hybrid (3 days working in the office)
• Preferred Locations: Bangalore & Pune

The position that is associated with a Software Engineer focused on backend development with either Java as well as PHP technology stacks. The candidates chosen will be responsible for designing the development, creation and maintenance of security solutions for enterprises, all as they work in a vibrant and collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities – Java Backend

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java apps that’re extremely efficient.
• Create flexible microservices that align with the latest architectural concepts.
• Work with teams of cross-functionality to fulfil the specifications for the application.
• Write clean, stable and reliable code that is consistent with industry standards.
• Review peer-to-peer reviews and provide technological feedback.
• Create and maintain full Technical documentation.
• Participate in the creation of novel cybersecurity products.

Responsibilities – PHP Backend

• Create and manage the Threat Intelligence Platform of Securonix (ThreatQ) by using PHP in conjunction and Laravel.
• Assuring high performance, reliability and scalability for backend applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, together with engineering and product teams, to develop unidirectional systems.
• Participate in the review of code and make suggestions for improvements to the process in the future.
• Maintain a record of documentation and stay up-to-date with the most recent technology in cybersecurity, as well as SaaS technological advances.

Key Technical Skills

Java Role:

• Core Java OOP principles
• Java frameworks: Spring, JSF
• Microservices architecture
• Database systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
• Git, APIs, RESTful, JSON integration
• The front-end is familiar (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Containerization and Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
• Build and test tools: JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with agile software practices in development

PHP Role:

• A powerful mastery of PHP/Laravel frameworks.
• An in-depth understanding of Python programming
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices deployment and Kubernetes.
• SQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB)
• Integration of RESTful API
• Front-end tools comprise ReactJS and Angular. TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience using cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Tools to test and control versions

Selection Process

1. Selection and screening: Initial assessment based on the information provided about the profile and admissibility.
2. Online Assessment: Includes MCQs as well as Coding issues.
3. Tech Interview: Technical aptitude and problem-solving assessment.
4. Human Resources and Management Interview: Cultural and role match evaluation.
