Revature New Off Campus Drive: A leading digital workplace service team is looking for motivated freshers to fill their Grad Trainee (Service Desk) position. This position offers a great chance to develop a career in IT support, while utilising the latest technologies, such as AI chatbots, as well as Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Role Overview
The Service Desk team delivers first-line technical support to customers across the globe. Team members address IT-related issues as well as troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and make sure that there is a smooth running of computers and IT services. The job requires the use of modern tools to address simple issues efficiently and escalate more complex situations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical assistance to users who have IT problems as well as queries.
- Track, log and document each support ticket accurately
- Find and fix software and hardware issues to reduce the amount of downtime
- Find technical issues and provide prompt solutions
- Work together with the other IT teams to facilitate the escalation of difficult issues
- Maintain and update the knowledge base content to help with self-service options
