As an intern in Product Management at Rapido and Rapido, you’ll collaborate with seasoned product leaders to gain experience designing user-friendly features. This position is ideal for people with a flair for problem-solving, a keen eye for user needs and a desire to explore the world of managing products. Key Responsibilities
Ownership
- Under the guidance of senior managers (Level 7 or more) to manage a specific portion of the lifecycle.
- Contribute to the creation of new features for the product and ensure alignment with Rapido’s vision and objectives.
- Work with teams from across the functional spectrum, such as design, engineering and marketing, to make features come to reality.
Product Sense
- Gain a deeper understanding of the user’s needs by asking questions that are insightful and developing empathy for different users.
- Actively participate in the creation process, right from the initial idea to implementation.
- Assist in the drafting of the Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) with the help of the team’s senior members.
- Contribute to the plan and vision by understanding and contributing to the roadmap.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Conduct basic analysis of data to discover insights that will inform the product’s decisions.
- Utilize and learn about useful tools for data analysis to analyse the feature’s performance and user activity.
- Learn about important performance indicators (KPIs) and then report on them according to Rapido’s requirements.
Execution
- The program manages the complete execution of features assigned from conception through release.
- Assist with internal and external product/feature marketing efforts, making sure of a smooth launch.
- Be proactive in identifying and communicating the risks, obstacles and progress to all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Work effectively in an agile, small Product Development (POD) team.
- Inform team members about developments, challenges, and successes to team members when needed.
- Be sure to follow Rapido’s best practices when working in teams that are cross-functional to ensure prompt delivery.
