Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Owner of the client infrastructure and solutions.
Detect issues or errors before an error occurs. Halt at the point of the trigger and inline address it.
Frequently identifies repeated incidents and opportunities for prevention to minimize the repeat frequency of future occurrences
Reviews root causes of initial incidents assigned
Processes approved requests according to established procedures.
Provides telephonic or chat assistance to customers on an as-needed basis.
Performs ‘green’ activities, such as patching or changes to configuration.
Follows all necessary handover procedures for service continuity in the event of shift change
Escalates incidents to the appropriate bodies as required.
Promotes the most effective and optimal resolution to incidents and requests.
Actively identifies opportunities for improving work processes.
Update or create new Knowledge Articles when necessary
Detect and propose the automation options for work, application support requests; event handling processes, and Integration procedures.
May provide project work support when required
May participate in the implementation and execution of Disaster Recovery functions/tests.
