Microsoft Fabric is a platform that provides a unifying data stack that allows seamless management of the entire data estate through an integrated experience and business model, governance and architecture. Its Data Team within Fabric builds critical telemetry pipelines for scale compliance, data security, using tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Explorer, EventHub, and Azure Data Factory. This job offers a chance to be a part of the most powerful services that provide analysis and diagnostics for our clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain core services APIs, SDKs and SDKs to facilitate production of telemetry pipelining, consumption, and production.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other others with stakeholders and teammates to design and implement models for service data by using Azure and other proprietary technology.
  • Enhance service quality by resolving issues and technical debt and completing the scoped tasks.
  • Participate in the process of feature design as well as development, under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Partner closely in conjunction with Product Management and partner teams to develop solutions that meet the needs of customers.
  • Join the rotation on call with assistance and guidance to ensure that you have reliability and overall health.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a university in Computer Science or a related technical field with experience programming using languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent experience).
  • The ability to pass Microsoft’s Cloud Background Check, required on hire or transfer and every two years after that.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, as well as experience engaging technical and non-technical parties at every level.
  • An approach that is proactive in solving problems and a desire to deliver top-quality, flexible solutions.
  • Experience with Azure technologies or the development of pipelines for telemetry is helpful, but isn’t required.
