Role and Responsibilities
As a Web Application Developer, your focus will be on creating, coding and maintaining high-performance internet applications that work with Media.net’s platform for advertising. Principal responsibilities include:
- Designing Flexible Web Applications: Build and optimise web applications with modern frameworks and techniques to guarantee smooth performance and scaling.
- Solution-Solving, Optimisation and Problem Solving: Solve technical issues by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code to improve the functionality of your platform.
- Collaboration through Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, along back-end development developers to offer user-friendly and robust solutions.
- Optimisation of Performance: Find issues and develop solutions to increase the speed of applications and reliability.
- Review of Code and Best Practices: Be a part of code reviews to ensure high standards of quality of code quality and conformity to industry-standard practices.
- Creative Solutions: Contribute your ideas and create new features to improve the user experience and capabilities of the platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this job, the candidates must show:
- Excellent Coding skills: Proficient in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java, with a particular emphasis on writing fast and flexible code.
- Competitive Programming Experience: An extensive background in competitive programming. Experience on platforms such as Codeforces, LeetCode, or HackerRank and demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Web Development Skills: A good understanding of Front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or) along with Back-end structures (Node.js, Django, or Spring).

- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field, and completing the degree in 2024 or 2025.
- Location Requirements: The candidate must be located in Mumbai or be willing to relocate.
Other skills, such as familiarity with using cloud services (AWS, Azure) or the ability to build RESTful APIs is as a benefit.
