Infosys Exam Pattern – Complete Roadmap & Preparation Guide

Infosys Exam Pattern: The Infosys Recruitment Process 2025 offers numerous opportunities for individuals seeking to become programmers through positions such as DSE, SP L1, SP L2, and SP L3. The entire process tests the ability to solve problems, technical proficiency, and coding efficiency. Learning the latest exam format and preparation method is vital for a successful exam.

Infosys Exam Pattern 2025 Overview

The process of selection involves three crucial stages:

  1. Online Coding Assessment (3 Hours)
  2. Technical Interview (1 or 2 Rounds)
  3. HR Interview

Each test is designed to assess the candidates’ technical expertise, their proficiency in programming and their communication skills. Candidates must pass every stage to advance to the next stage.

Online Coding Assessment (3 Hours)

The online code test is the most critical element in the Infosys selection process. It consists of three coding questions that are of various difficulty levels, intended to test the understanding of the fields of Data Structures as well as algorithms. The time limit for the exam is 3 hours, and the types of problems could be as simple as array-based questions to more complex problems in graphs or dynamic programming.

Difficulty Levels:

  • Easy: Questions on arrays and strings, stacks, queues, trees, hash maps, as well as linked lists. The focus is usually on the basics of algorithmic concepts and building logic.
  • Medium: It involves greedy algorithm or recursion, backtracking or optimisation-based issues that require analytic thinking.
  • Hard: Focuses on dynamic graph-related or programming problems to test advanced algorithmic skills.
  • Complex: Generally built around graph traversal, shortest route, and the advanced structure of the data.

Candidates may encounter situations similar to

  • Simple: Array-based problem
  • Medium A string or a recursion
  • Hard: Dynamic Programming (DP)
  • complex: Graphs or optimisation problems

Topics Covered in the Infosys Coding Round

The assessment covers a wide range of computer science concepts, like:

  • Arrays and Strings
  • Linked Lists and Trees
  • Stack and Queue
  • Recursion and Backtracking
  • Sorting and Searching Algorithms
  • Greedy Algorithms
  • Dynamic Programming
  • Bit Manipulation
  • Graphs and Hash Maps

The ability to master these topics will lead to better comprehension of problems and better solution optimisation on the test.

DSE And SP Selection Criteria and Role-Wise Cutoffs

Infosys has multiple roles that are based on ability and accuracy:

RoleRequired Correct AnswersPackage (LPA)
DSEAttempt 3 Questions in Total.
At least one correct answer.
Questions can be picked from any topic.
6.25
SP L1You can attempt 3 questions.
Minimum 1 correct answer from Medium Complex, Hard, or Medium.
10 LPA + 1 LPA Joining Bonus
SP L22. Correct answers to 2 questions, 1 correct Hard or Complex16 LPA
SP L3You can attempt 3 questions. Two correct solutions, and 1 incorrect. Hard21 LPA

Technical and HR Interviews

Candidates who pass the coding exam are then invited to those who pass the coding round are invited to Technical Interview, which emphasises DSA, OOPS, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks and, occasionally, Systems Design. Candidates could be required to write or optimise code during the course.

The HR interview examines communication skills and reasoning behind job selection, flexibility, and understanding of the company’s values. The salary expectations, relocation preferences and career objectives are also addressed.
