Job Objective
In your position as a senior SDET for Info Edge, you’ll take on a central role in ensuring that Info Edge delivers top-quality, customer-focused services. This job requires total control of the testing process and collaborating across a variety of technologies to ensure that the products are bug-free. You’ll work with teams from across the functional spectrum to design tests as well as automate solutions for testing and ensure the highest quality of coding and testing standards within an agile environment.
EY Off-Campus Hiring Drive – Associate Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Test scenario definition: Define and identify complete test scenarios to make sure that you have reliable, bug-free software.
- Automation Development: Design, create and deploy automated testing solutions with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Selenium Assured, as well as TestNG.
- Quality Assurance: Make sure that all solutions tested adhere to Info Edge’s testing and coding standards to provide seamless functionality.
- Agile Testing Document: Create and coordinate manual and automated testing for systems that are complex systems in the framework of agile.
- Regression Testing: Review the results of tests and aid in the development of automated regression testing suites that help ensure the reliability of products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to pinpoint and solve problems at an early stage of the development cycle.
- Reporting: Report and document results of tests, giving practical insights to improve the quality of the product.
Required Skills
- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA from a recognised institution.
- Technical Expertise:
- Expertise in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, TestNG, and Rest Assured.
- Experience using build tools like Maven, ANT as well and Gradle.
- A thorough knowledge of software QA methods, tools and methods.
- Analytics Skills: Excellent capacity for problem-solving and reasoning with a particular focus on providing top-quality solutions.
- An Agile Experiential: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and work in cross-functional teams to design and implement tests.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills that allow you to record results and work effectively with other stakeholders.
Desired Skills
- Experience in the design of backend testing frameworks or tools that support REST APIs, microservices, data migration and failure-over scenarios.
- A familiarity with working with White-box tests of web-based applications and microservices.
- A working knowledge of security testing and performance testing is an advantage.
