Job Roles and Responsibilities

Officer – AO&CS (Terminal Services)

As an officer at Terminal Services, you will be the point of contact for customers, which means you need to have a warm interface to facilitate their travel with us.

• Reservations & Ticketing: Business rules such as phone reservations, cash sales/ ticket booking, customer account services, including high-value query resolution, need to be completed with call etiquette during remote interactions.
• Departures: You must check all bags within specification limits and assist special request passengers after paying attention to detail on check-in.
• Arrivals: Assist passengers with baggage that is not handled well or damaged, liaise with subcontractors who perform baggage handling services and follow up on lost baggage cases.
• Post Flight Operations: Ensure compliance with the corresponding filing of documents that were generated by the flight so that there is conformance to company operational requirements.

Officer – Security

Security officers are an integral part of Indigo’s operations and bear considerable responsibility in ensuring operational checks and compliance with risks, along with important functions such as:

• Control access through identification
• Utilisation of electronic systems
• Operation of contact scanning equipment
• Approving clearance controls
• Enforcing compliance monitoring responsibilities and performing task-based field audits.
• Securing a company’s assets while creating a safe work environment.

Officer – AO&CS (Ramp)

As part of the Ramp Safety team, officers guarantee every flight has seamless and secure ground operations. Their key duties are:

• Maintaining safety during aircraft approach by Monitoring Equipment Alignment on the Ramp (MOEAR).
• Active supervision during baggage arrival from the interline carriers.
• Cleaning and loading as per the Loading Instruction Report (LIR) CLB.
• Documentation post-departure, including equipment tally.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Graduation is mandatory for freshers.

Hiring Process

The IndiGo AO&CS Hiring Drive follows a clear process aimed at capturing critical skills India has to offer through an actionable talent capture framework. This is what it involves:

Step 1: Online Registration

• Head over to www.indigocareers.com to access the careers page. Find open positions with the “Apply” button on the right-hand side of your screen.
• Fill in all required details accurately in the registration form.
• Click the “Submit” button to save your information. Once submitted, the “Apply” button will turn green, confirming that your registration is complete.
• Screening will be conducted on the basis of the application information provided in the application.

Registration Period: May 30, 2025, 8:00 AM IST – July 20, 2025, 11:59 PM IST

Step 2: Online Assessment

Pre-assigned shortlisted candidates will take an assessment consisting of online tests.

• 10 MCQ (Mathematics): Test your numerical and problem-solving skills.
• 2 Speech Assessment Questions: Record audio responses (minimum 45 seconds each) to evaluate communication skills.
• 2 Written Assessment Questions: respond in written form, demonstrating appropriate communication through text.
• Duration: 25 minutes to complete all 14 questions.
• Navigation: Completion is done question by question. Use the next to progress towards any query.
• Access: Only shortlisted contestants can see and use the “Verify & Start” button. Upon completion, the button updates status as “Completed”.

Contestants shall receive notification via email and WhatsApp regarding their designated location’s timetable for assessments.

Step 3: Face-to-Face Interview

Top scorers from the online tests will then meet with IndiGo representatives for a face-to-face interview during which they can demonstrate their proficiency at relevant matters along with charm, zeal and ethos compatibility with the values of Indigo.
