Being an Associate Relationship Officer, you will have the striking role of cultivating relations with Rural Banking accounts; providing an outstanding customer service, and supporting the business development campaigns. Together with the Relationship Manager, you will coordinate the survey of business owners and entrepreneurs in identified rural areas, determine their loan demands, and encourage them to use the entire variety of banking products offered. This position will enable you to develop an excellent relationship with customers and achieve sales goals, as well as lead to the mission of the bank to achieve financial inclusion in the rural markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Zoning & Mapping: Control zoning operations to survey the financial requirements of households in the allotted villages and zones, to determine the possible participants of the banking services.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: This will lead to client acquisition through the process of building up the relationship at the household level to make sure that there is a lifetime value in every client interaction.
- Loan Disbursal Follow-Up: To make end-user verifications after loan disbursal, so that it is in line with the group loan bookings monthly and annually.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Analyse the needs of clients, take into account the risk profile and sell cross-banking products by the specific needs of clients regarding their lifestyle and needs.
- Liability Business Penetration: Contributing to increasing the liability business by creating leads and opening accounts as per the customer’s need under Liability Business Penetration.
- Sales & Retention: Exceed personal, and bank branch sale targets through business entrant sales, referrals and account retention.
- Online Banking Promotion: Promote the use of Online Banking services by customers thereby changing customer behavior to increase digital bank utilization.
- Collections Efficiency: Enhance high collection efficiency by ensuring follow-ups are made in a disciplined manner in a proactive manner in interacting with the customers.
- Documentation and Compliance: Loans and savings accounts Well-documented loans and savings accounts are important, and the bank must confirm its ability to comply with bank laws.
- Data Coordination: Work in conjunction with operational officers to have a smooth flow of operations due to proper and timely input of data.
- Field Audits and Verifications: There shall be field audits and customer verifications, which shall ensure a high-quality account.
- Product Knowledge: The bank products, credit standards, services and industry trends need to be updated so as to offer the best customer service.
- Process Improvement: Propose process improvement to enhance the effectiveness of services and quality in the network of branches.
- Community Development: Follow-up on the establishment of programs like livelihood promotion and community development to help in empowering rural customers.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in any field (BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, BE, BTech or equivalent).
- Experience: up to 1 year of related branch banking experience. Fresher applicants are welcome who love working with customers and in rural banking.
- Skills:
- Effective communication and people skills to establish long-lasting customer relations.
- Possibility to analyze the requirements of clients and suggest individual banking services.
- Simple knowledge of the financial products, lending procedures and credit rating.
- The ability to work with information and make sure that the regulations of the bank are met.
- Self-driven and aiming to accomplish sales and collections goals.
- Easy to work in rural areas and visit the field.
- Experience with digital banks is an advantage.
