Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, the main focus is on Frontend as well as Full Stack development, emphasizing Automation and Process Mining technologies. Candidates will be working on high-profile initiatives that support strategic goals and work with a variety of stakeholders to provide solutions that comply with strict requirements.

Principal responsibilities include:

• The development and maintenance of applications is done using a combination of IBM and open-source technology.
• Implementing API-driven interfaces, as well as API test and automated.
• The writing of clean, robust and efficient code in programming languages such as Go, Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Automating tests by using tools like Ansible as well as Python.
• Collaboration with teams across functional lines to develop top-quality software solutions.
• Controlling source code using GitHub while ensuring seamless integration with DevOps pipelines.
• Utilizing cloud-based platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Utilizing containerization technology such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.

The job requires an individual with a positive attitude, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as being able to work in a multi-tasking environment, as well as efficient communication skills to manage tasks with little supervision.

Required Education

• A bachelor’s level degree or equivalent or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Successful candidates will have an excellent foundation in programming and a love of learning new technologies. These skills as well as experience are required:

• Experience with programming languages like Go, Java, Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Redux, Node.js, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML and CSS.
• Backend development skills that utilize Python, Java, or GoLang as the main technology stack.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Codecept for reliable testing.
• Experience in the development and testing of API-driven interfaces, which includes API automation.
• Experience with development of test automation by using Ansible as well as Python.
• Experience hands-on working with GitHub to manage source code.
• Understanding of cloud-based services, such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• A familiarity with DevOps techniques and tools.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experiance working with Linux systems.
