Hero Off Campus Drive: Hero Campus Challenge Season 10 Invites bright management and engineering students to explore real-world innovative opportunities by working with India’s top two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp. The premier academic innovation platform is designed to find new generations of problem solvers as well as strategists and innovators who are ready to tackle the most challenging technological, business and product development.

About Hero Campus Challenge Season 10

Since its debut on the 15th of May, the year 2015 Hero Campus Challenge (HCC) has established a national platform for future innovators coming from the top engineering and B-Schools universities across India. The contest encourages students to research emerging trends, research strategies for business and come up with actionable ideas that could change how mobility is going to be in the near future.

Participants will be expected to present practical, data-driven solutions that are based on the current market conditions and technological disruptions that impact the automotive sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Track:

  • Students can pursue B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, M.E., or dual-degree programs (all years of eligibility).

Business Track:

  • Students who are pursuing an MBA, PGDM, or one-year management programs (first and second-year students are eligible).

Team Formation Rules

  • Teams must be comprised of 1-3 people from the same institute.
  • Teams with cross-specialisation are permitted.
  • All members must agree to take part.
  • A student cannot join multiple teams.
  • There is no limit on how many of teams in a college.
  • The team composition can’t be altered after the registration deadline has passed.

Competition Structure

Round 1 – Online Assessment:
A comprehensive test of logic, critical thinking and analytical capabilities. Every member of the team has to take the test to be eligible for the next round. The performance of this test determines the criteria for shortlisting in the next phases.

Round 2 – Idea Elevator Video Pitch:
Teams that are shortlisted receive problem statements and are required to submit a slide presentation with a 60 to 90-second video detailing their proposed solution. The evaluation focuses on the feasibility and practicality of the solution in the context of the current business.

Masterclass Round:
The top semi-finalists participate in an exclusive workshop with experts who help them refine their strategies and improve their proposals.

Round 3 – Semi-Final Presentation:
Teams can present online to the senior management. Each team gets 10 minutes for their presentation, and five minutes for a Q&A time.

Mentorship for National Finalists:
The top 10 national finalist teams receive guidance from Hero MotoCorp’s top leadership team to improve their final presentation.

Round 4 – Grand Finale:
National finalist present their solutions in Hero MotoCorp’s Headquarters in NCR/New Delhi. Teams that are selected win Pre-Placement interview (PPI) opportunities in partnership with Hero MotoCorp.

Rewards and Prizes

Engineering Track:

  • winner: Rs. 250,000 plus Hero Xtreme 12 and Vida VX2 + exclusive Merchandise worth Rs. 30,000 plus PPI
  • 1st Runners-Up: Rs. 1,50,000 + Hero Xtreme 125 or Vida VX2 + PPI
  • 2nd Runners-Up: Rs. 1,00,000 + PPI
  • National Finalists: PPI + Goodies + Industry Immersion

B-School Track:

  • The winner will receive: Rs. 250,000 plus Hero Xtreme 12 and Vida VX2 + Exclusive Merchandise worth Rs. 30,000 PPI

Registration Details

Students from institutions that are eligible are able to join teams through the official Hero Campus Challenge portal before the deadline. Only team leaders can access uploading submissions. Submission files should not exceed 20MB and must conform to specific format requirements.

Delhi / NCR (Grand Finale Stage) Virtual rounds can be found for the stages that were earlier.
