Software Engineer Role

The position of Software Engineer at Heizen requires close collaboration with customers, product managers and designers in the development of features from conception to implementation. This job requires a thorough knowledge of the fundamental issues, as well as solution design and complete implementation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design scalable systems and write robust frontend/backend code
  • Integration of APIs, UI elements, database and cloud infrastructure
  • Work with clients to learn about their needs of their clients and provide solutions
  • Completely own the features from concept to completion

Key Requirements

  • With 0+ years of engineering experience (open to recent graduates)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
  • A strong or extensive passion for building and distributing software applications
  • A basic understanding of or a desire to master SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, as well as cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • The ability to excel in high-speed, collaborative environments

Compensation

  • Fixed Rs12-18L + performance-based bonuses and ESOPs

Software Development Engineer (Intern) Role

This Software Development Engineer intern position provides hands-on experience in full-stack development. It involves working with teams of engineers, clients, designers and product managers. Interns help develop real-world features while learning about enterprise-level software development within a mentorship-driven setting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Learn to build systems and write code scalable to scale under the guidance of a mentor.
  • Use APIs, UI elements, database and cloud infrastructure
  • Participate in client interactions and demonstrations of solutions
  • Assume responsibility for features assigned with the assistance of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to mobile and web application development

Key Requirements

  • In pursuit of or recently completing an education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related area
  • Experience in full-stack design and development for mobile and web applications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or similar
  • A familiarity with Web frameworks (React, Next.js) and mobile development (React Native, Flutter, or native iOS and Android)
  • Basic knowledge or the willingness to study SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud platforms
  • Ability to solve problems and desire to discover

Compensation

  • A stipend of Rs 25,000 per month plus a pre-placement offer (PPO) possibility

Product Reliability Engineer (Intern) Role
