Role Overview
As a Business Analyst – SQL Developer you will be given an important role of designing and developing complex SQL queries and dashboards to facilitate business decision making. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the extraction, transformation and loading of data, development of quality data models, and driving decision making through developing advanced analytics and reporting solutions. The technical skills such a position demands include a high level of SQL Server knowledge, QlikView, as well as data modelling, along with a well-versed business insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Create Complicated SQL Queries: Create and streamline T-SQL queries, with joins, subqueries and other advanced methodologies in MS SQL Server to get insightful answers out of huge volumes of data.
- ETL Processes: Artifact Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipeline workflows to transfer and transform information in the MS Access to MS SQL Server in a manner that guarantees data integrity and performance.
- Database Management: Define and manipulate tables, fields, constraints, stored procedures, views, triggers and functions in MS SQL Server to assist in business applications.
- Automation: There is Automation which allows scheduling and maintaining automated jobs within the database like MS SQL server to manipulate data and make operations easier easily.
- Data Visualization: Create and design QlikView dashboards that are interactive to show key performance indicators (KPIs) as per business requirements.
- Data Modeling: Construct and streamline data models with the use of Star or Snowflake schema to facilitate effective reporting and data analytics.
- QlikView expertise: Extract data out of QVD files, make new QVDs, and control variables and access to sections in QlikView to find secure and Scalable reporting solutions.
- Improved Analysis Tool: Leverage SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS) to provide end-to-end data solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the stakeholders to realize various business needs by converting them to technical specifications in order to provide solutions that generate value.

Minimum Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: B.Tech/MBA/MSc/MCA graduate from a recognized institution.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of writing complicated T-SQL queries with several tables and unity.
- Knowledge of ETL activities specifically conversion of data from access database to SQL Server database.
- Experience in building and maintaining stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions within the MS SQL Server.
- Knowledge of QlikView dashboard building and data models work (Star/Snowflake frameworks).
- Simple knowledge of databases of MS Access.
- Analytical Thinking: The Capacity to develop KPIs, tie them with the business goals, and convert their complex demands into workable knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- QlikView Skills: Practical usage of creating QVD, data retrieval and variable usage in QlikView.
- Security Knowledge: A little knowledge of how to implement the section access in QlikView to be able to control data.
- Sophisticated Tools: Proficient knowledge in using PSSA, PSSIS, and PSRS.
- Problem-Solving: Good skills in solving Hilbert data problems and optimisation of queries.
- Communication: Good oral and written communication abilities to work with both the technical and non-technical stakeholders.
