Job Description Summary :
To make sure the company can adapt to the needs of the grid and renewable energy market, the Electrical System Engineering Intern will collaborate with a group of system engineers, controls and protection, validation and verification, and valves in GE Vernova’s HVDC unit. Our objective as leaders in the energy sector is to hasten the shift to a more energy-efficient grid in order to meet future demands. In order to work with globally recognized specialists on game-changing technology, you will need to approach each of our projects with a solution-focused, optimistic mindset.
Role & Responsibilities For Intern :
- Work with Electrical/Power Electronics Engineer in assigned project in the field of Electrical Design, Circuit design, filter design, Electrical insulation coordination studies, Equipment lifecycle management, Reliability, availability and maintainability studies, Electrical losses management, Control & Protection Dynamic studies, C&P Strategies, Control automations, Testing / validation/ verification of control systems, Power Electronics , Hardware etc.
- Develop and execute subsystem validation test plans in assigned domain
- Work closely with mentors to provide technical clarification in current project
- Provide documentation support in the assigned project
- Provide technical support and assistance to overall project team as appropriate
