FlatUI Off Campus Hiring – Data Analyst Internship

FlatUI Off Campus Hiring: A great opportunity for future data professionals to gain exposure to data analytics as well as business intelligence. The internship gives practical experience in the analysis of large data sets, creating dashboards, and aiding the decision-making process.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and arrange large amounts of data from many sources.
• Conduct an exploratory analysis of data (EDA) to discover patterns and insights that can be used to make decisions.
• Aid product and business teams by providing data-driven insights to help them develop strategies.
• Create and maintain dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Write effective SQL queries that create and manipulate data for reporting.
• Automate the recurring processing of data, including daily reports and performance metrics.
• Check the level of engagement, retention, and campaign performance using KPIs.
• Create visual representations of findings that communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Help with documentation of data, such as schemas, data, and analysis workflows.
• Collaboration to collaborate in Agile environments via standups, sprint plans and review of data.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for analysis and manipulation of data.
• Practical experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Solid knowledge of probability, statistics, and techniques for data interpretation.
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly and Power BI.
• A familiarity with APIs, JSON Data structures, pipelines for ETL and concepts for data warehousing.
• Ability to design insightful charts, dashboards and reports with Excel as well as Google Sheets.
• An analytical and strong mind, with attention to detail and precision.
• A basic understanding of machine learning methods like clustering, regression and classification.
• Experience using Git Version control, JIRA/Notion, as well as agile workflows, are a plus.
