About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Convert, collect and validate large amounts of unstructured and structured information from various sources.
- Create efficient SQL queries to gain insights and to perform data transformations.

- Use PySpark to tackle big task processing of data, with rapid computation speed and capacity.
- Create as well as maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations to show the results.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in the field: 0-2 years in business intelligence, data analytics or a similar field.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experienced hands-on in Python to aid in automated analysis and data collection.
- Experience the benefits of PySpark to process large data and handle large data.
- A solid understanding of SQL to support the data queries and filtering, and management of databases.
- Analytical abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, as well as logical reasoning and a comfortable working experience with small and large data sets.
- Communication: Ability to translate the technical outputs into valuable business insight.
- Attention to Detail: A strict respect for the highest standards of quality when making reports and validating information.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s level degree is required in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or any related discipline.
- The ability to use tools for data visualisation, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an additional advantage.
- Ability to manage deadline-driven projects in the fast-paced world.
